Danna. She was happy while cooking with her headset plugged in until Dom decided to talk to her. At first it was normal to her until he started to touch her inappropriately. She shifted a bit because she was uncomfortable with it. It started this way when she met Eli. He started to touch slowly at the club that night and she gave in to him, then he became her regular one night stand until he asked her out and she naively accepted him into her life. The biggest mistake she has ever made if you will ask her. She offered chef Dom a faint smile. "Do you need anything?" She asked. She watched as he nodded his head no then she turned her attention to the pasta she was cooking. She doesn't want to be the type that will blame someone for something they did unintentionally. But she was getting the chills that Dom has a different motive for doing whatever he is doing. She just knew it because her gut was telling her. "Can I have a taste?" He finally ask when he saw that she had no intentions of talking to him more. She pressed her lips into a thin line before picking a plate by the rack and she put a small amount of the chessy pasta then she passed it to him. "Thank you." He mumbled before going back to take a seat. She plated the pasta as it was done and it was taken to the customer. She was happy that it was her lunch time and she is going to swap places with chef Dom was busy having a snap with his pasta. Which she doesn't care about because as soon as it is one thirty noon, she will drop her apron and drive out of the hotel, to eat some street food. She has been craving for that for a while now and she couldn't get it as she was late at work. When her timer beeped, indicating that it was time. She waved at chef Dom before dashing out of the kitchen without waiting for a response from him. If she stays for a minute then he will try to force her to take over his shift. He did it once claiming that his food was not liked by the customers. She met Susan at the reception, frowning her face. "What is wrong baby girl?" She asked damping Susan's face with her facial cleaner towel. "He doesn't want to help me by switching place for just this time so that I can go with you." Susan cried out. Danna could see her co receptionist walking away and she would swear that she can't even remember his name. "Wait do I know his name?" She mumbled to herself. Since they were not really acquitted like she is with Susan and they have almost three to four other people that take turns with Susan, so she is not sure. "Did you say anything?" Susan asked when she saw Danna’s mouth moved. "Nope. I need to get going well. I have to be back here before my break ends. Bye baby girl." She called out blowing a kiss at her. She had to laugh when she saw the expression of Susan. Well it was not her fault that her co worker doesn't want to switch places with her. She took out of her car keys from her pocket and revved the poor car to life. She connected her phone to the car so that she could play a song of her choice. Sometimes, the radio doesn't play the type of songs she likes. She first played '8 letters." by Why Don't We. A five boy band that she had always loved. She sang along until she reached the public street food market that she always go to when she was young. She sniffed in the air happily. Even though sometimes the air is not healthy, she prefers it to staying close to Eli and perceiving his scent. Not that he smells or reeks but she just doesn't want him again. She could swear that everything was like a movie to her as she really did it. If someone had told her that she was going to be out of the relationship with Eli then she would say no because she is scared of what he will do to her. But now, she has things against him and she will not rest until she fights for her rights when the time is right. She walked down the street smiling as she watched the festival that was happening. It was beautiful and she can't even remember the last time she had attended one. She only watched the street Market festival on the television and when she craves for one, Eli sends his driver to get her some. It was still better when she was the one that goes there to buy it because that is also part of it. "Hi." She greeted an old woman that she has always been buying her corn dogs from. They were the best that she has ever tasted and no one will tell her otherwise because she is yet to see a corn dog better than the woman's. "Danna. I thought I was not going to see you ever again." The woman exclaimed and she gave Danna and side hug which she returned. "I have been busy for a while now. But I am back and I won't miss any more festivals." She informed smiling then she was passed a corn dog wrapped and covered properly. She swallowed at the sight of it as she slowly unwrapped it. Then she began to eat it slowly. "God, you can't imagine how much I have missed your corn dogs." She moaned. "Really? Here then." She handed a free corn dog to Danna then a flyer saying that they have started to deliver corn dogs homes. She squealed. "Can I order for my co worker then I will place an order for later in the evening. It should be delivered to my apartment." She said before writing down her address and her phone number then she paid. She collected the one she had ordered for Susan before moving to another stall to buy somethings. She gasped when she checked time and saw that her lunch time has ended a long time ago and her phone that was on silent has been ringing for a while. She saw two missed calls from chef Dom then four from Susan. She decided to call Susan and from the way she was talking, asking her if the traffic was still not moving. She knew chef Dok must be with her and she used the traffic to cover it up. Her lies will be believed since there is a huge festival going on at the moment and almost everyone wants to attend there. She drove back to the hotel in a hurry, even though she was sure she was in for it. Her first stop was the reception. "What do you think you are doing?" Susan yelled whispered. She passed her the wrapped corn dogs before muttering thank you and I am sorry. She moved to the kitchen ready for whatever she was going to face. She met chef Dom frying something on the fire while his slutty assistant stood beside him. No one has to tell her that chef Dom and his assistant have something going on between them because it was pretty much evident. "The Queen is back." She heard his assistant said and she eyed her. She was not in mood to have or pick a fight with someone that was worth it. "Becky. Stop." Chef Dom warned. She bowed her head a little. "I am so sorry chef Dom, I never knew that the traffic was going to be this bad because of the festival." She explained with lies and hopes that he won't find out. He ignored her and continued to place the chicken that he had just fried in the sauce. "Chef Dom." She called out again. "Yes Danna." He replied. "Do you need anything?" He added. "No." She mumbled. He nodded his head. "Then go and get ready to continue your day." He told her and she made her way to the locker room. She could hear his assistant telling him that he was letting Danna off the hook and he told her that it was obvious that she was caught in traffic. A smile creeped to her face before she wore her apron and changed her shoes to a comfortable ones. She then returned the kitchen and at the moment chef Dom and his assistant were not there. But he left a word for her to make some Korean noodles for a customer that just requested it. After getting all the vegetables she needed, she began to make the noodle pouring all her love in it. Making Korean or Chinese noodles has been her thing and she will never get tired of making it. Her dreams one day is to go on a vacation to Korea and maybe she never return.
