Chapter 12

It was already twelve in the afternoon when the boys decided to go. They have come into an agreement that Wayne and Damon will help the investigation then Axel and Caled will help Drake in finding some evidence.

I was really glad that Drake has his friends. Well he still has his family but Drake was much comfortable and more real when he was with his friends.

“Where are we going?” I asked him because he was packing his bag and a lot of stuffs.

“We are going on a trip” He said while he was still busy trying to put as much clothes as he can in the travel bag.

He was wearing a black shirt, Kaki shorts and his rubbershoes. He got his rayband on and his backpack.

Seriously? Anong plano ng lalaking to? Akala ko ba priority namin na mahanap yung katawan ko bakit bigla nya naman gustong maglibot?

“Drake seryoso ka ba? I supposed I already told you that I only have three months to find my body and now you’re telling me that we are going on a trip? Adik kaba?”  I hissed at him.

I couldn’t help but be angry, it’s been two days and yet wala pa din kami progress kahit manlang 1% kaya hindi nya naman siguro ako masisisi kung ganito yung maging reaction ko. I only have a few months and ang nakasalalay dito ay yung buhay ko. Kaya hindi ako pwedeng magpaka kampante.

“I know, I know okay!? Pero we need this trip. Maniwala ka lang sakin basta Kiesh we need this trip.” He said.

He is now packing some foods and chips, ang dami nyang pinapack seriously.

“Sino ba ang kasama mo bakit sobrang dami mong pinapack ha?” Naiinis na tanong ko sa kanya.

“Ikaw! Kulang pa nga to eh I think I need a bigger bag” He said while still packing.

Napahinto lang sya nung narealize nya yung sinagot nya sa akin.

Drake’s always been like this. Before kapag may out of town kami or may libot he makes sure na kumpleto yung gamit naming na dadalhin. He makes sure I have enough chips and drinks while were on the way, kasi alam nya na gutumin talaga ako sa byahe kailangan na madami akong baon. I remember one time nagpunta kami sa Dinadiawan and there are no more fastfoods and mini marts sa daan, I was really really hungry. I hate travelling without food. He went all the way back just to get me some foods.

We went to the bayan and buy some fastfoods and chips. He made sure that I have enough food until we reach the beach resort.

“It’s okay. Let’s just go” I sadly said to him.

He looked really really sorry.  I know it’s not his fault, hindi naman nya kasalanan na ganito ako ngayon. Pagkatapos nyang ipack lahat ng foods and clothes nya nagdecide na sya na umalis kami.

“Alam mo just tell me where we are going, para mag teleport nalang ako dun, diba nakakapagteleport ako? Ayos din pala maging multo hano?” biro ko sa kanya.

I was trying to lighten up the mood because it seems to heavy for the both of us.

“Don’t be too comfortable with that teleportation teleportation. Hindi mo nga alam kung pano at bakit nangyayari yan. Kaya mo bang controlin? Alam mo ba kung bakit ka biglang sumusulpot tapos nawawala? Hindi diba? So please Kiesh stop being so childish and take this situation seriously.” He said while looking straight at the road.

Ano ba problema ng taong to? Didn’t he realize that I was just trying to lighten up the mood? Meron bang taong nag enjoy maging kaluluwa?

What the hell is wrong with him? Why is he being so grumpy?

Kesa magtalo pa kaming dalawa napagdesisyonan ko na tumahimik nalang.

I realize that we are on the way to Pangasinan or La Union it should be one of these two.

“Matulog kana muna, I guess yun medyo normal para sa isang multo. Ang matulog kapag inaantok, kasi ang dalas mong matulog.  Kaya sige matulog ka nalang muna” He said after a while.

 Not minding what he said, I decided to take a nap. Mahirap kausap to si Drake pagka may sumpong sobrang grumpy parang bata.

After two hundred years, I guess. Nandito na kami sa private resort and I was right we are now in La Union. I can hear the sound of the waves.

Ahh very relaxing!

Before going out of the car, Drake called me several times. Alam naman nya na gising ako dahil once talaga na huminto ang sasakyan nagigising ako kaya nga pag may travel kame sinusubukan nya palagi na deretsuhan ang maneho para hindi kami pahinto hinto.

He grabbed his bags and went inside of the resort.

“Good afternoon Mr. Lacson we are very happy to have you here. Mr. De Silva made sure that everything was ready for your stay. Here are the keys, please don’t hesistate to call whenever you need assistance” said by the woman the accommodation area.

She gave Drake the keys to the villa.

I believe this is Axel’s private resort. Si Axel lang naman ang kaibigan ni Drake na De Silva ang apelyido.

“Thanks. I believe Axel already informed you guys that I want the resort all by myself. I will not need any servers since I only have myself. You guys can take this as a short vacation for y’all” he said to the lady.

“Ofcourse Mr. Lacson.  I hope that you will enjoy your stay here in Casa Del Rio” She smiled as she motions Drake to proceed.

Hmm. So this is Casa Del Rio? A part of the sin island. I didn’t know that the De Silva’s actually very powerful too.

But I know that they were rich.

“So what do you think about Axel’s crib ?” Drake said after awhile. He was now unpacking his things and getting ready to take a bath.

“It was fine. Not so fancy but fine.”  I said nonchalantly.

“Haha just as I have expected. I hope I can tell that to Axel” He said while smilling.

Drake’s phone suddenly rings. He looked at the screen and saw that the boys are video calling him and he immediately answered it.

Axel: What’s up dude, did you like the place?

Guys he was beaming as if this is the best place in the whole world.

Caleb, Damon and Wayne are still not answering the call that’s why Axel was the only one on the screen.

“I liked it, yes. But you know I went here for Kiesha right? I don’t really think she’ll like this place. She’ll probably say this is just fine” Drake said trying to tease Axel.

Axel: come on man! Bakit ba lagi mo nalang iniisip si Avie Dude you went there to chill remember? Kami na ang bahala sa kaso nya, just relax okay? And man I hope you won’t take this personally but I think that Avie is really nice but you know her being a b***h overcomes her kindness.

Drake burst into laughter. The douche was laughing his ass off! I am so humiliated! Argh!

I sat behind Drake and looked angrily at Axel.

I didn’t know if he saw me but he literally froze on the screen.

Axel: Dude what the hell is that?

He said while pointing at the screen. I guess he was trying to point at me?

“What is what?” Drake ased Axel.

Being naughty that I am, I stood up from where I was sitting and sat at the other couch.

Axel: Dude! I think I saw a f*****g shawdow moving! Oh f**k! I need that resort to be baptised and blessed! Drake just go dude! You cant be alone there!

Drake just continued laughing while Axel is still trying to tell him that he really saw something.

Ang laki laking tao takot sa multo. Ewan ko sayo Axel.

I decided to have a walk outside the resort. Gusto kong tignan yung dagat. I really love the sound of the waves and the smell of the sea.

I am beach person, yeah both beach and b***h.

Everytime na may pupuntahan akong ibang lugar or ibang bansa, I always make sure na makakapunta ako sa beach sa lugar na yon. I don’t know why but I guess it has been a habit for me.

Siguro dahil pakiramdam ko pag nasa dagat ako na hindi ako mag-isa. I hate feeling alone.

Nakakapagod kasi talaga yung pakiramdam na mag-isa ka.

Everytime na naririnig ko yung pagaspas ng alon at lagaslas ng tubig sa buhangin pakiramdam ko kahit wala akong kasama hiindi ako nag-iisa.

That’s the reason why I really love going to the beach.

“Hey how’s the beach?” Nagulat ako nung biglang nagsalita si Drake sa tabi ko.

“It’s beautiful. Very beautiful” sagot ko sa kanya habang nakatingin sa malawak na karagatan.

“Yes Kiesha, It’s really beautiful. One of a kind” Drake said while looking at my face.

Ayokong mag-assume kasi ayoko ding masaktan.

Pero bakit naman ganito?

Paano naman akong hindi lalong mahuhulog kung ganito?

Matagal na kong nahulog. Hindi na nga ako naka-ahon e

Pero ngayon parang mas lalo akong nahuhulog…
