Chapter 6 “Guess what?” Hannah said. Without waiting for a response, she said, “I did it!” Nathaniel set his messenger bag on the floor and kicked off a pair of loafers badly in need of a shoe shine. He looked over Hannah’s shoulder, but the house looked the same as it had when he’d rushed out the door fifteen minutes late for work. She was clapping and jumping up and down. She did it.
