CHAPTER SEVEN –––––––– WHEN THEY FINISHED eating and drank their coffee, Nick asked Darcy, “What are you going to do today?” The young woman kept silent for a few moments, pondering his question. She didn’t really know what to do. She had planned to run away, and she had already done that. After a while, Darcy answered Nick’s question, “Actually, I don’t know. I suppose I will borrow your t-shirt if you don’t mind. I don’t have anything else to wear, you know.
