Right before Mom's eyes

Later that evening she got surprise catching sight of Jackie watching toward her house. Her face wasn't looking happy at all.  "So you won't listen, will you" Jackie asked in anger.  "What did I do? Listen to what?" "I told you not to get my brother involved in your family issues but you still went to him with your nonsense despite my warning" Jackie roared at her in anger.  "He told you…" "He didn't. He will never tell me. I overheard it myself. Fortunately I had already woken up when you came. Jack is an adventurous i***t. He will definitely wish to go with you if it involves all this magic and all" "Jackie, I told the truth. I do have powers"  "You don't have to tell me twice. I know you have powers" Jackie replied with a frown.  "What? I am not joking…" "I am also not joking. I know you turned the horse to gold on that market day. I saw your eye color, they were gold. I was scared. I wanted to tell Jack but I stopped because I thought you would hurt us. I have always found you strange since then. Your mum's sudden cure from tuberculosis when two of my aunts died of it, your dad's sudden disappearance leading to the burning of so many books...I have always known there was something odd about you. I have always been scared of you but I didn't know how to end the friendship with you. I have always sworn to protect my brother from you since i am sure of what curse your family is facing but it is impossible. You still went after him. You still convinced him to go with you to your deadly mission"  "Jackie if you knew all this was happening, why didn't you tell me what you felt"  "Because you aren't normal and i am scared of you. Your family is facing scary challenges no one has faced before" She responded with an unbelievable look. " I am sorry Helia but if you do value the friendship we have had all these years, please stay away from my brother. Pleaseeee!" She pleaded and went on her knees begging. "He is the only one i have"  "Stop it Jackie. Understand this situation…" She tried convincing Jackie but Jackie pushed her to the ground with all her strength fuming in hatred.  "I knew you would not listen. I am done being nice to you…" Suddenly Mrs Belinda walked with a bowl ready to pluck from fruits at the garden. She caught sight of the girls and realized their faces weren't a good one.  "What's going on?" She asked in astonishment.  "Mrs Belinda…" Jackie started looking away from Helia. "Jackie please…" Helia tried stopping her.  "Helia wishes to run away from home. If there is any way you can stop her from eloping with her lover. It will really help" Jackie lied and walked away immediately hoping that would help the situation. A smirk came onto her face as she boarded a cart home.  "You want to elope Helia?" Her mum asked with surprise.  "No mum. She is lying to you. I ak not eloping with anyone"  "Hold on a second…" Her mum suddenly recalled something and rushed to Helia's room only to retrieve the bag she had packed for her trip. "I saw this packed backpack while cleaning, i thought you wanted to keep some stuffs separately but are you really running away from me Helia"  "Mum no. It isn't like that"  "What's it like then? Is there anything you aren't telling me? I have realized you are pretty close to Drax lately. Is he beginning to influence you badly? What have you told you? Why are you packing your stuff? "I wish to rescue my father," Helia replied. "No! Your family is facing that witch again!" Her mum disapproved and walked in with the bag. Helia pursued her trying to get the bag from her.  "Mum please, i really need to go"  "No!! Helia you can't. You have to stay here with me. Your dad is in the past now. Move on!" "How can I move on mum? You never told me i had powers"  "So? How do you expect me to tell you that witch is going to kill you? How do you expect me to tell you that she's luring you into her den?"  "Mum, someday someone has to fight her and stop all this" "Let someone else do it but not my baby girl…" her mum told her and walked into her ro with the bag shutting the door behind her. Helia could feel her plan go into ruins. Everything was spoiled now. What could she do? She had only a day to go. How could she convince everyone? *** That night she tried sleeping but couldn't. It was already midnight and everyone was sound asleep but she was unable to. She laid on her side and stared at the moon with an helpless look hoping to get a hint of what to do. Suddenly she felt her hands twitch again and her body tremble. The pink flame began forming all around her body and her eyes turned glowing pink.  "Leave me alone!" She screamed trying to fight it off.  "Odd looking house. Feeling bored. Destruction!" Her evil side screamed and began shooting beams of flames at her items in the room setting them ablaze.  "No! Stop. You're destroying things! Stop it!" She fought against herself but it was impossible to overpower what controlled her. "Why does the golden queen have to put me in a weakling body like you? You're not evil" The creature nagged and continued setting the whole room ablaze. Helia got nervous and raced out the room immediately hurrying to get water to put it out. Her mother heard the noise and raced out of her room."what's going on here?"  "Mum i don't know, this thing keeps…" Her tone suddenly changed and her eyes turned glowing pink again with her body lifted off the flow.  "So you're mommy" The creature had said with a smirk. "You're the wife of the human prisoner"  "Who are you? What have you done to my daughter?"  "Nothing. I am just the power inflicted on her. I am doing my job. I don't need her nor anyone else" The creature said and tried shooting beams at the mother but her hand suddenly ceased for some reason. She got confused.  "You brat!" The creature complained and tried so hard but couldn't move the arm. She hissed and disappeared causing Helia to come back to normal.  "Helia, are you fine?" "I was able to cease the arm but i don't know how to do any other than that mom" "It's okay dear. Let's turn off the fire"  They both scooped a bucket of water and rushed to the room, to their surprise the fire was already off and the room had gone back to normal. "How?" Her mum asked with shock.  "Mum, this will continue to trouble us until we get help. I can't handle this anymore mother" She pleaded. Her mum hadn't said anything. She pecked her and went back to bed.
