  David   I watched her from the corner of my eye as she padded into the kitchen, not once looking up from the newspaper. She had tied a cerise pink robe around her body, and I could just make out some outlandish pajama bottoms and slippers as I pretended to read the paper. She was trying to hide that body from my view. And I almost chuckled to myself. Too late for that. Only an hour before I had that tightly wound body quivering with need. Which might be the whole reason she had covered herself so completely. Her cheeks were flaming the same colour as her dressing gown. Good. I liked her on edge, and I bloody loved that pink tinge to her cheeks.
