Chapter Ten There’s some reason for me to stay here. I’m not certain why. I’m sure that Analise’s appearance in my bed is a trap to keep me at Tasia’s, though perhaps I’m just paranoid. In any event, this is a diversion that I enjoy. Analise seems to want nothing from me but s****l play, no emotional attachment, no commitment, no real friendship, even though she’s the only real friend I have here. She flits back and forth from somewhere downstairs to my room. Her moments with me seem so brief after she’s gone, so that I treasure them, and look forward to her return.
