ARIA
With so much hope in my heart, I made my way to see Theron.
"I wonder how he'd react when he hears that I'm pregnant. This child might just be the answer to my suffering," I said, dropping my hand down on my abdomen.
I could feel that area go hard. It was never like that before. It's a sign that my baby is there, resting in me.
My face glowed with joy as I approached Theron's room.
When I got there, filled with excitement, I opened the door to talk to Theron, only for my eyes to meet a terrible sight.
"Theron?"
Theron was in bed with a different lady, having pleasure with her. I stood in shock as my world came crumbling before my eyes.
Theron was busy riding this lady with so much pleasure until his eyes met with mine.
"What are you doing here?! GET OUT!" He roared, getting off the lady.
Shivering at this, I immediately rushed out, looking at the door quickly.
I couldn't feel my feet as I walked away from there.
How could he?
I know he rejected me because of my situation, but I thought I was the only one that he found pleasure with.
He always made love to me. I never imagined I'd find him in bed with another woman.
This brought pain to my heart.
I kept walking away sadly when I felt a strong grip taking hold of my right arm and slamming me against the wall.
I lifted my eyes to find Theron glaring at me.
"How dare you step into my chamber without my permission? Answer me!" He roared at me, causing my heart to pound in fear.
I couldn't even utter a word, but I dropped my gaze away from him in fear.
His voice had attracted the attention of the servants in the house, including Eliana. She gazed in shock at seeing how Theron scolded me for coming into his chamber unannounced.
"Alpha, please forgive her. She didn't know. " Eliana tried to plead with Theron, but he wouldn't listen.
He shunned Eliana, calling his guards to handle me.
"This slave says she can do whatever she wants in my home. Take her out of my sight and punish her! Let her know her place in my pack," he ordered.
"Yes, Alpha." The guards agreed.
"Theron," I called upon hearing this, looking into his eyes.
I saw Theron's eyes flashing at me. He groaned, trying to stop it from flashing anymore. It's his wolf.
Theron doesn't want to listen to his wolf.
He finally got his wolf to submit to his order, stepping away and tossing me into the arms of the guards.
My heart sank at Theron's command. He didn't care about me but just turned back, walking away.
"Fool," he called me as he walked further from me.
I wanted to call out to him, but after what I witnessed with my eyes, I saw no reason to call out anymore.
Theron has shown me the truth. He has opened my eyes to see where I stand in his life.
I mean nothing to him.
The guards took me outside to the punishment ground, tying my hands to two large poles and striking me from the back with a whip.
I screamed when the lashes came fast, causing me nothing but pain.
I cried out, trying to endure the pain, but it was just too much to bear.
They kept hitting me with all their strength, not caring about the fact that I was a woman.
As I cried, Theron's face appeared before me. Bitterness took over my heart as I gave up screaming, accepting the punishment like one who was dead.
I was too weak to do anything.
After the guards had their fun dealing with me, they took me back to the room where Theron had placed me and tossed me to the ground.
"Move." I heard Eliana's voice, but I was just too weak to lift my head and look at her.
"Aria, my goodness," she cried upon seeing my condition.
Eliana went out and later returned with a towel and bowl of water. She carefully placed me on her lap, cleaning my wound.
I just couldn't move but stare out with sadness in my heart.
"You'll be fine, Aria. Just stay strong," she said, comforting me.
Once she was done, she left and returned with food, feeding me so I could have something in my tummy.
"Please eat, Aria. You know you're pregnant. She fed me, reminding me of the little one in my womb.
With what Theron did, I feared for my child's life. There's no doubt that he'll kill the child once he learns about it.
He doesn't care.
In my weak state, I said to Eliana, "I don't want to stay here anymore. I want to leave."
"Don't say that, Aria. You can't leave, even though you try. You'll be considered a rogue, and the Alpha will make sure he hunts you down. Please don't think of that and just rest. I know you're hurting, but this isn't the best time to talk. Heal first," she advised, attending to me.
I stayed quiet while she continued to feed me.
But late at midnight, I took it upon myself to leave the pack.
Rogue or not, I can't allow Theron to harm my child and me.
"If I stay any longer, the sign of my pregnancy will be revealed, and Theron won't hesitate to kill my baby," I said, rising from the floor where I lay.
Eliana was asleep on the other side. I carefully left the room without making any noise.
I've always listened to Eliana's advice, but today I can't.
With my desperation, I snuck out of Theron's lair, through the pack without the guards seeing, until I was right in the forest, running through the woods.
"I can't remain in that pack anymore, never!"
I ran with pain all over without looking back.
I don't know where I'm heading, but I know it'll be far from Theron.
I'll make sure he never finds me.
