I still don't know why I agreed to my Beta's request. He told me of a large sale taking place in a market away from the pack, claiming it'll be relaxing, but who cares?
I had no intention of stepping out to do anything, but since he's my good friend, always watching over his Alpha, I decided to follow him.
At least I can see it as a little trip out of my home. More like an exploration.
"I know I saw that attire around here. You'll love it Alpha," My Beta said, leading the way.
I just followed him from behind, glancing from one area to the other, having no plans of buying anything.
Not until my eyes came across an auction at the right corner.
This is a s*x slave trade!
"This is one reason why I hate coming to places like this," I groaned, about taking my gaze off that place. But suddenly, I saw something or more like someone.
I stopped, directing my attention back to the auction ground.
On the podium stood a beautiful damsel right at the corner, looking unhappy. Her beauty was beyond anything I've ever laid my eyes on.
I just couldn't stop gazing, but found myself drawing closer to this auction ground, with my eyes on her.
"What's this feeling? Why do I find that woman so fascinating?" I asked, still gazing at her while the others were being sold off.
That's when I heard my wolf.
"Mate, " It whispered to me.
My eyes shimmered at this. That beauty is my fated Mate!
"Who knew that I'd find my mate here in this filthy gathering?" I smiled, trailing my gaze down to her beautiful legs.
She has beautiful skin, driving my desire to feel with a touch.
"Alpha, why did you stop?" My Beta asked, standing next to me.
"Don't tell me you plan on getting yourself a s*x slave?"
"More than that, " I said, joining in the crowd.
I could see how the men in the gathering made different bids on other ladies. My Beta wondered why I was there if I wasn't going to make a bid.
"It's pointless, Alpha. Let's go."
But I didn't listen to him.
At last, my attractive mate was brought forth. Men began making their bids, throwing in different amounts like crazy.
Seems they find her more attractive than the others.
"A thousand gold coins," Someone yelled in the crowd, silencing the others.
"Ten thousand gold coins. Going once, going twice..."
"One hundred thousand gold coins," I said, lifting my hand.
My Beta gazed in shock at hearing me.
"Alpha?" He called, but I said nothing to him.
My pride came engulfing on seeing how all looked at me in shock. I have silenced them and also prevented them from having my mate.
"A hundred thousand gold coins! SOLD!" The lady hosting the auction announced without any delay.
I bet it's the first time she has ever heard such an amount.
A huge man came out and pulled my mate off the podium, bringing her to me with respect.
My eyes fell on her, as she couldn't even look at me in the eyes.
The fragrance coming from her left my heart spinning. Indeed she's my mate. Her aura is as beautiful as her body.
I shall reward my Beta for pulling me out to this place.
"Not too fast Sir," A voice said from behind the huge fellow.
I looked and saw the same lady hosting the auction, stepping forward.
"She's now yours. You'll have to put your mark on her as her owner. It's the rule," She said, smirking at me.
"I see, " I said, seeing that as no big deal.
The huge fellow pushed my mate into my hold. Her body shivered at my touch, as she took a step back from me. But that only drove my desire more.
I can't wait to take her home.
Just as she said, I sank my teeth into my mate's shoulder. She gave a moan that triggered my heart.
"She smells so good," I said in my mind.
"What?"
I felt my heart flutter on hearing that, taking my eyes on the beauty before me. Her eyes were on me, looking surprised.
She heard me!
My Beta paid the money, leaving these greedy morons thrilled.
"Have fun," The lady said, walking away with her accomplice.
Of course, I'll have fun. My day has just been made great with my Mate's presence.

After the auction, I took my Mate back home with me. She stopped looking frightened but felt calm around me.
I asked for her name and I felt sparks in my heart when I heard her beautiful name.
"Aria. That's a lovely name," I said, caressing her face in my chamber.
Her face flushed red at my words, lowering her gaze down in embarrassment.
She's just so gorgeous.
But everything came crumbling before my eyes when I came to learn something about my mate.
She can't shift! Aria is wolfless!
This got me so mad! Why is this, goddess?
"I reject you!" I groaned, tossing Aria to the ground.
She looked at me with sadness in her eyes. I can't accept a wolfless woman like her as my mate.
What will my people say when they learn she's my mate but has no wolf?
I won't allow that.
Disgusted by this, I tossed Aria among my slaves, showing her the rightful place where she belongs.
I treated her poorly just like the way I treat the others. But her role to me is more important than any other slave.
"I bought you as a s*x slave, meaning you are to serve me when I need you, " I whispered into Aria's ear, tossing her right into bed.
She didn't attempt to run. She just stared into my eyes as I dropped my body on her, satisfying my deep pleasure.
I thought she was going to fight back, but she didn't. She just gave herself to me.
Indeed she's a thing of pleasure.
