A Mother's Call

" Now you listen to me young lady, I don't want you to leave this house, I'm going to the market and I'll shut the door on you. Before I come back you're done with the dishes, and cleaning up the house, remember to put the dirty clothes in the laundry room and wash them neat. And not to forget don't turn on the gas while using your phone and again phones are not allowed in the kitchen. Once again I need this house sparkling neat before I get back, do you get me?" Mom asked spouting her lips as I flicked my eyes smiling " I got you mom, you can leave " I said as she glared at me " I mean, yes I'll do everything you've asked me to do. I'll take care of everything, don't you trust me anymore?" I asked holding her as she pushed me away " momsi" I said smiling as she just went out locking the door from the outside. Yea that's her main work, lock me up inside the house as if I was a kid. Well I'm Joey Diaz, I'm the only child of my parents, I'm gonna clock sweet sixteen very soon. My dad Diaz is a military man, his a five star general and his almost never around. As for the woman who locked me in Roselle, that's my mom. She's an over protective frick, she's an accountant but still manages the home. As for me I'm just a sweet dog in the middle, the only thing that actually keeps my parents together. Well enough of the introduction I'm sure nobody wants to know what I do in the toilet so I'll just focus on my assignments. I walked around the huge house thinking of where to start from as I went into the laundry room to wash the clothes. You may be wondering do rich kids do house chores, well my over protective mom makes me do all the work and yes we don't have any maid and why if that's the next question you're going to ask is because my mom is afraid the maids would steal dad. I mean I conquer and I'm sure you do too, we've heard alot about maids, so we don't have any one. I finished all the house chores as I sat down taking in heavy breathe, I turned to the wall clock " what?, To six and she's not home. Mom won't kill me." I mumbled as I got up going into my room. Okay I guess now you guys are gonna find out what I do in the bathroom, actually I don't do much, just always like to walk into the bathroom naked and sing lots of crazy song's while the water runs down my body, and yes I dance naked too. I came out of the bathroom with the water dripping down from my wet hair as I stood in front of the mirror. I turned to look at my flat ass " gosh, why can't I have big back and front?" I mumbled as I shook my butt in front of the mirror " bum bum get different size oh......" I uttered putting on clothes as I put on my headphones. The loud car horn came repeatedly as Walmart our annoying gate man rushed to open the gate. Pause for a while, why is Walmart annoying? 1. His always playing useless music on his old radio, that looks like a transformer 2. He never brushes his teeth, his breathe alone can kill everyone, so I usually use a mask while talking to him 3. Walmart is always hungry, he alone can eat six chicken laps without drinking water and last but not the list, he likes to ask nonsense questions. Imagine someone asking you if you remembered your dream from ten years ago. Like how can that be possible and least his the biggest liar I know in this universe. I remember the day he said Elon musk was his father, like how can that even be possible ( resume ). Walmart opened the gate as as a lot of military vans pulled into the house ' oga" Walmart said jumping as the soldiers opened the door for dad to come out " sir general Diaz, you're most welcome " Walmart said as dad completely ignored him. Anyone who wants to live should avoid him, dad's right hand man Huston tried opening the door but it was locked " sir, it's locked " he said as dad grimed " Walmart...?' dad called as Walmart came running " boss sir, general Diaz " he said saluting as dad sighed, he was completely stressed out an didn't have enough energy for all of Walmarts stupidity. " Where did they go?" He asked as Walmart looked at the house itching his head " boss ma went to market as for small boss she's inside ", he said as dad grimed " what do you mean small boss is inside?, The door is locked " dad said as Walmart licked his lips " yes, boss ma lock her inside and went to market " he said as dad who was already angry turned to hit the door loudly. " Joey, joey dear, joe......, Joey!" Dad yelled hitting the door. I yawned opening my eyes as I sat upright on the bed, I looked at my phone that was turned off as I fling the headphones down. I plugged in my phone as I could faintly hear my name " oh my gosh, I'm hearing double" I said going to my window as I saw dad " dad......!" I yelled as I opened the door and ran down the stairs " Joey.......' dad screamed as Huston tried peering through the window " she's coming down sir" he said as I jumped on the couch pushing the curtains away " joey dear, are you okay?' he asked as I could tense the fear from his voice , well I can't blame him, I'm his everything. " I'm fine dad, I'm wasn't expecting you" I said as he had told us six months ago that he wouldn't come back anytime soon and him coming back just nine months later was really early, sometimes we don't get to see him for years. The first time I actually my dad was when I turned 4 because mom said he was on a battle and would not come back anytime. " Your mom locked you in?, That was so irresponsible of her, are you a dog or something?" He asked as I smiled, I don't have any problem been a dog " it's nothing to worry" I said but I knew he wasn't getting anything " Huston, if you can't see any spare key, break down this door' he commanded as Huston saluted. After some few minutes of looking around, seven men began to hit the door and boom the door was down to the floor, I sat down taking in lots of air as I stood up " joey, my darling" dad said hugging me as I smiled " boss sir and small boss" Walmart said into my face as I jumped up and down holding my mouth " oh gosh, dad I can't breathe......!" I yelled holding my chest as Huston covered my face with a wet towel " Walmart how many times would I tell you to wash your mouth before speaking to my daughter?" Dad asked as Walmart itched his head " actually. Boss Sir general Diaz,I washed my mouth this morning, do you know I even asked my mom to bring the toothpaste from Joe Biden, he had to send davido to deliver it immediately, can you believe I opened my gates and saw that guy with bald hair, I told him to release a song about you sir " Walmart said as I just held my head, I was already feeling alot of headache as dad sighed ' please get out!" Dad yelled as Walmart rushed out of the living room. Justin another of dad's men dropped the food on the table, our eyes met as he smiled going inside outside, he was a young recruit barely just eighteen years old as soon mom came into the house " darling!' she said with a scared tone as the soldiers took the market stuff' off her hands " welcome mom " I said looking at mom who just stood transfixed in her standing position. Soon I inside my room as I plugged in my headphones to sleep. Dad washed his mouth as he sat down on the bed while mom was fixing in her sleeping mask " I didn't know you're coming back today ' she said as dad grimed " why? Do you have other things with other men?" He asked as she turned to him ' Diaz, what kind of accusations is that?" Mom asked with a stern voice " Roselle, I don't trust you anymore and besides why do you lock up joey like she's an animal?" Dad asked as mom stood up " don't you dare question me, I know what's good". " What's good about locking up your own daughter inside the house, she's a human being not an animal" dad yelled as mom paced up and down the room " you act as if, you don't know anything. I'm doing everything for her sake" mom yelled as she sat down, tears had already began to rush down her eyes as she wipes her eyes ? FLASH BACK ? Several years ago " Hon, hon ......, Hon" Roselle said as she walked around the house, she couldn't find Diaz anywhere " Ann!" Roselle said going into the kitchen as Ann the maid cleaned her hands " do you know where my husband is?" She asked as Ann shook her head " yes ma'am, they're outside" she said as Roselle turned to leave the kitchen. When she got outside she saw them as she shook her head, both of them were playing with Sand " o my gosh sweetie you're so sweaty, go and meet nanny Ann and take your bath" she said to Laxmi who just hugged her. Laxmi is their 12 years old daughter " yes mummy" she said as she ran into the house " and you, are you also a child?, Playing in the sand with a little girl " Roselle said as Diaz just smiled dusting his hands " you know that I can't say no to our daughter, I do what she wants. My own general" he said as Roselle hit him on the chest " I came to tell you guys , dinner is ready, please join us at the table" she said going into the house " okay" Diaz said as he got up following his wife. Roselle checked her phone as she saw a message from her boss asking her to be in work " babe, what's wrong?" He asked as she opened the closet ' its my boss, I thought he said I was given a week break but he's called for me again " she said as Diaz smiled " just take care babe" he said as she carried her bag " okay, love you " she said kissing him as she went outside " mummy!" Laxmi shouted running to hug her " I'll be out for a while, don't go anywhere " Roselle said leaving the house. Diaz was almost dozing off to sleep when his phone rang.
