Mike and I spend the morning together. Then we go to Mystical Moon. I think he's going to talk to Phira and granny after I leave. Monte has the warriors on the river obstacle course. Mike joins him, yelling at them to go faster. I hop up on the tires around the mud pit and bounce. They are fun to jump on.
"Woman, be careful."
"I AM."
However, the mud on the tires makes them slippery. I fall straight in. Then I can't get out. A warrior gets me out. I am covered in mud.
The warriors are laughing their asses off. Monte is trying not to laugh. Mike rubs his eyes and points to the park. "Move."
I get to the park at the same time a helicopter is landing. Conner cracks up laughing.
"I guess you're showering when we get there." Chris sort of pushes me to the helicopter.
Clover shakes her head. "I'm not sitting by you."
Jax gets out of the helicopter. "You're sitting by the door. Get in last."
I get in last and nobody sits by me. Conner finally gets out, "What happened?"
"I fell in the mud pit." He loses it again.
We get to the palace right on time. We walk to the door and Clayton, dad, Drogon, and his dad are standing there talking. They stop and stare at me. Clayton cracks up laughing and falls down a couple of stairs.
I clap for him. "Nice job with the stairs."
He sits down. "What the hell happened to you?"
"I fell in the mud pit."
Jax comes up to us on his phone. "I don't care. Take that helicopter and clean it. Send a different one."
Mary comes out the door and stares at me. Then she smiles at Jax. "You got them all here on time. Good start." Then she looks at a girl standing there. "Send for her servants." She takes off running.
Chris is giving a tour of the front door to Flint, his date, and Clover.
Storm rubs his eyes. "She's so feral."
I run in the house. That was mean. I'm not feral. I fell in a mud pit. The same 4 girls who always help me, take me to my room. I shower for 15 minutes. Then they help me into clean clothes and dry my hair.
Everyone is in the ballroom eating. So, I grab some food and sit outside on the steps to eat.
"What's wrong?" Conner sits beside me.
"He said I'm feral."
"To him, feral is someone who doesn't wear a suit every day. Hell, we're probably feral because we have t-shirts on. He has no idea what feral is." He nudges me with his shoulder. "Let's show them what feral is."
I laugh. "I'm not crawling around on all 4's barking at people."
"Me either. But we can show them how we really do things. Even Clayton only wears brand new fitted shorts and t-shirts when he tries to fit in."
"I never noticed that."
"There's a lot you don't notice. You see the person instead of all the bullshit on the outside. Let's show them how we do it. Especially your brother. He needs to be feraled."
I crack up laughing. "That does sound fun. Drogon will probably be traumatized though."
He helps me up. "Yea, he'll be scarred for life. I'm willing to make that sacrifice."
We laugh and go in. After lunch, dad and Storm leave to talk. Mary smiles at Jax. "Good luck." Then she runs out.
Chris jumps up. "SHOPPING TIME."
Jax puts his hands up. "No. We need to discuss where we are going."
Conner cracks up laughing. "Get in the helicopter or don't come." All of us run for the helicopter.
Jax and Drogon get in last. "We have to tell them where we're going."
"I already did." The helicopter lifts off.
"You cannot scatter when we get there."
Clayton shakes his head. "Jax, we have guards. Relax." Then he sits up quickly. "Where the hell is my date?"
I burst out laughing. "Did you remember to ask her?"
"f**k. No. I'll text her. She can catch up."
Chris looks at him. "Are you ever going to tell us her name?"
"It's a..." He checks his phone, and we all about die laughing. "It's not in here."
"We'll figure it out for you." Chris shakes his head.
We land and Clayton is so confused. "We're shopping in the market district?"
"Yes, we need to be grunged for the concert. None of the s**t we need is anywhere else. Except maybe the slums. Let's go." Conner opens the door.
The guards land behind us and run to catch up. We scatter when we get to the shops. Then Chris pulls us all into one shop. I look around and it's perfect. Clayton's date is hanging on Jax and keeps staring at people walking around. They do look different though. Everyone has piercings and tattoos. Different color hair. Their clothes are normal. Not formal like she's used to.
I see a skirt across the store. It's short and black. "MINE."
"NOPE." Chris grabs me.
"WHY DO YOU WANT A SKIRT?"
"Sorry, I thought you were going for the net shirt."
We each grab our items. Then I see a torn-up black shirt. I grab it a size too small. It has to be tight like the skirt. I hit the jackpot on my shoes. Black combat boots. I grab some black tights that go over my knees. They have rivets at the top of them. Then I get some matching gloves that go to my elbows. I grab some black rope necklaces in different lengths. They have different charms on each of them. I'm happy with my look. I get it paid for and send it to the helicopter.
Then I round in on Jax. "Don't look at me. I like my suit. It's black. That's good."
"BUT."
"Nope." He runs out the door.
I turn to Drogon and he lifts an eyebrow. He may be frozen in fear, but I grab his arm and pull. "CHRIS. HE DIDN'T RUN AWAY."
Chris throws a bunch of stuff up in the air and runs over. "WE'LL FIX YOU."
Clayton comes out of the dressing room as we're shoving Drogon in with a bunch of stuff. "Nothing fits right."
Conner cracks up laughing. "It's not fitted for you. You have to make it work."
"How is Clover doing?"
"That girl was born for this store."
Drogon comes out of the dressing room pulling at the t-shirt. Chris shakes his head. "Lose the shirt."
He pulls it over his head and my eyes are stuck to his chest. He is sexy. He keeps lots of muscles hidden under his clothes. His arms. His stomach. He's almost chis... Chris smacks me. "SORRY."
"GO GRAB THAT BLACK BELT WITH THE RIVETS."
"FINE." I know what he's talking about. I throw it at Drogon when I get back. He smirks and puts it on. I think I drool while he does that.
Chris nods. "Pants are good with the belt. Try the black shirt with the white design. Tuck it into the belt in the front."
I find a white zip-up hoodie with a bunch of black designs on it. I grab it a size too big for him. Then I grab a few black bracelets and some chains that hook to the belt. We get him together and he's perfect.
Clayton comes out in ripped up jeans and a t-shirt. "This isn't so bad."
"You need a belt before your pants fall off." We finish Clayton, then I find a hair place on my way to the helicopter. I run in before anyone notices.
A woman with green hair in a mohawk style smiles. "Can we help you princess?" There are 4 of them with equally crazy hair and make-up.
"Me and my friends are going to the Crystal Fiction concert tonight. We need to look like you."
They crack up laughing. "Bring them in. We're dead today."
I collect everyone and go with one of the girls. She gives me brown bad girl roots. I told her about the blonde issue. She put extra stuff in my hair and said it'll wash out. Then she does my makeup so dark around my eyes and my lips with blood-red lipstick.
Clayton has a bright orange mohawk. Chris has black hair and dark makeup. Conner's hair is parted down the middle and a little in his face. They put some oil in it too. His silver eyes peek out at me and I shiver. He let them put a little makeup on his eyes too. That boy is sexy no matter what he does. Drogon's normal business look is all messed up and the tips of his hair are frosted. Clayton's date has her hair messed up. She wouldn't do too much with it. Her makeup is dark though, and she put fake piercings on her eyebrows. Flint goes with the messy hair look. His date is a stick in the mud. But I guess Chris found her a little black dress she liked.
Chris holds out his hand to Clayton's date. "We've never officially met. I'm Chris."
"I'm Eleanor. It's nice to meet you."
"I'm having dinner catered. Back to the helicopter." Jax points at the door. "Give yourselves a 50% tip. They look great."
We go to my penthouse in central and the food is already there. We eat then break apart to get dressed.
