I was shocked to my bones. Her calm but commanding voice reverberated in the hall, causing everyone to stand still and obey her words.
It left me in awe because only Alpha's can make commands that can make their pack members be forced to obey his words.
If she wasn't my mate, her commanding voice would have gotten to me. It felt powerful.
But that wasn't the only thing that surprised me. She had a way of speaking that left the pack members feeling regretful for their actions. She didn't shout or scream. She was so calm and commanding.
My eyes stayed glued on her, and for a moment I felt the powerful aura around my mate, and a very silly thought crossed my mind. “What if my mate wasn't an ordinary wolf? What if she was the legendary wolf we saw in books?”
