Fargo was put through a battery of questions before leaving the gutted and smoldering mess that was once his business and pride and joy. Fire Chief Dixon and Police Officer Dickles were polite with their interrogation of where Fargo was when the fire started, and what Fargo was doing for fear that he wanted to collect on an insurance claim and decided to set his business ablaze on purpose, the sole arsonist of the night’s tragedy. Eventually, they realized that the business owner was innocent and had nothing to do with the inferno. Dickles gave Fargo permission to leave the premises, continuing with his life.
