Cole's POV
I flipped open one of the files on my desk only to let out a sharp breath in frustration when my mind wandered back to her. It was hard not to think about her, especially when she is not here, in front of me and when she is there in front of me, it almost drives me mad.
Because she wouldn't let me in yet! It wasn't her fault though. To her, I was just a stranger she met at the supermarket who later turned out to be the CEO of the company she works.
I snapped the file shut with unnecessary force and flung it away. I just met her a few days ago and she already has so much power over me. The worst part is, she didn't even know that. She has no idea who was she to me and to what ends I will reach to be with her.
She was frustratingly oblivious.
I closed my eyes shut and sighed
