On Monday morning, Aria stood in front of the alpha’s turnout. People walked in and out of the building. They were dressed in formal clothing and elegant outfits. She looked down at herself, then at the big sign that was over the building. She looked like the people who passed by. She didn’t look like she belonged there. Because did she? Her files were held tightly to her chest with one hand while the other straightened the dress that she knew didn’t need to be straightened.
