After a long day of work, my mind was racing. The commitments, the deadlines, the problems that appeared out of nowhere — everything contributed to leaving me exhausted. I just wanted a hot shower and my bed. But as soon as I walked into Killian's apartment, the sight before me made all the stress of the day melt away in a second.
The soft candlelight illuminated the room with a warm, cozy glow, casting shadows that danced lazily across the walls. The tantalizing smell of a freshly prepared dinner filled the air, inviting my senses to surrender to the moment. The discreet sound of instrumental music in the background created a relaxing, almost magical atmosphere. And there he was, next to the table, a smile playing on his lips as he watched my reaction.
