Chapter Five In the morning, Christina was up before Dale, making coffee and breakfast, and rousing her lover from bed with a few passionate kisses. “Morning, sweetheart,” she purred in his ear. “Oh, my god, what time it is?” he said, jerking awake. “Seven thirty, thereabouts. I thought we could have a little love-making to get the morning going.” “God I wish, but I practically forgot. I’ve got to leave town again.” “When?” she backed off looking hurt.
