Ever since Nicky showed up in my pack she's been distant and looked like she lost some of her wit, which I couldn't quite understand. I hoped that the announcement that took us both off guard would be a good thing, that she would be happy to have him close and, with time, our two packs would form a close relationship like Harvest Moon and Midnight Banes.
But the reality was completely opposite. She looked sad, maybe even angry, and during the one date we had since then she barely spoke and paid me no attention. She just ate her food, complimented my choice out of pure politeness
