"Well, I must leave you. I trust you know how to find your room.'' Before Jessie could reply, Christian kissed her on the cheek and left her in the kitchen by herself. "Oh dear me.'' Jessie placed a hand on her cheek, she didn't remember where to go. She barely even found the kitchen on her own. Jessie got up, dumped her food in what she hoped was the right bin, then started to wash her plate when a woman that looked a lot like Christian entered the kitchen. "What on Earth are you doing?'' She turned her nose up. "Cleaning up after myself.'' Jessie waved the wet sponge in the air, causing water to drip on the floor. The woman made a face, "of course you are. I guess you truly aren't used to anything, the maids do that." She spoke slowly, as if she was talking to someone with no understanding. "Oh, sorry. Of course.'' "Rina, can you please get in here.'' The woman called. Jessie looked around, wondering who she was talking to because she was certain that no one could hear her. But none the less, in walked a plump, short woman with light purple hair. "Mrs Stoll and Mrs Stoll.'' The woman bowed her head. "Don't address her as such.'' The older woman frowned. The woman bowed her head. "Make me a plate and clean up after this one. If I still had authority around here, this place would run smoothly, and the Fates would think twice about picking a gutter girl for my son. Keera is and still will be the best thing he ever had.'' Jessie turned away to hide her tears, thinking that Christian was far from right. His mother was an awful person, who has her long nose in the air. "I should go.'' The older woman waved Jessie off. Jessie walked down the opposite side of the hall from where she came earlier without noticing, it was after she came to a different set of stair case did she realize that she once again was going in the wrong direction. Instead of turning around, she continued along the second floor, thinking that she would eventually make her way back to her room. After walking around for who knows how long, Jessie finally came to a brown door that reads Alpha. With a smile, she peeks in to see Christian and a female with a blonde pixie cut hair style in a compromising position. The female had her legs wrapped around his waist while he was kissing her deeply. "I love you so much.'' Christian told her after pulling back. A small gasp escaped Jessie's lips. She couldn't watch anymore. It felt as if her heart was being ripped from her chest, of all the things Christian promised. This one hurt her the most. She thought that she would have finally had a happy ending or found someone that loved her. Tears ran down Jessie's face as she turned away from the half-open door. Christian looked up in time to see Jessie's retrieving figure. "Sh*t.'' He pulled back for the female that was lying on his desk. He chased after Jessie as he hurried to buckle his pants. "Jessie wait.'' "For what? For you to tell me about how that was an accident, how it will never happen again. Just leave me alone.'' "Leave you alone? No, you are my wife and I'm talking to you." "Well, I don't want to talk to you, better yet. Go take to that bi*ch you were fu*king.'' Christian's face twisted in anger, all too soon he had Jessie by her neck and up against a wall, with her feet dangling in the air. "Listen to me, you better watch your words. That woman in there is far from a bit*h, she has had a better upbringing than you and should have been the one I got married to.'' "Let me go, Christian.'' Jessie tried to kick her legs, but she was getting too weak. "You are nothing but a cheater." Jessie managed out. "Yes, I cheated on her by marrying you." By then, tears were streaming down Jessie's face as she struggled to break free from Christian's hold and his hateful words. "Then why marry me? Why say all those things to me?'' Jessie cried, still struggling. At that, Christian allowed her to fall to the ground. Jessie coughed uncontrollably, not believing that a man that had not so long ago promised her a safe life had hurt her. Christian gave a dark laugh, "you are such a weak sad little thing.'' Without a word, Jessie got up and headed in the direction she hoped to be her room. Luckily it was, she threw herself on the bed and cried herself to sleep. **** "Who was that?'' The female asked, fixing her clothes and wiping off her smudged lipstick. "Just my mate.'' "Oh, what did she want?'' Christian didn't reply at first, instead he pulled the woman closer to him and buried his face in her neck. "Nothing, but I think she needs to be taught respect.'' "I think I can help with that.'' "No, I know what to do.'' The female rolled her eyes and pouted, "you never let me have any fun.'' "Just go get your beautiful self ready.'' Christian gave her kiss on the forehead. She giggled, "don't keep me waiting.'' "Never.'' When Christian got to his room, he could hear soft mumbles coming from the other room. "And who are you in here talking to?'' He practically broke the door down, only to stop in his tracks after seeing that Jessie was fast asleep and must be having a dream. He went to stand by the bed and stared down at her, hating the fact that he can't be with who he really wanted. But that didn't stop him from running a finger along her cheek, he couldn't help but admire how beautiful she was and her skin was just as soft as she expected it to be. Jessie gasped and jump from the sleep, then used a pillow as a shield to block herself for Christian, she held it up to her face, afraid that he might hurt her again. Christian only stood there, staring at her until Jessie moved the pillow from before her face. "I'm sorry, sorry for what I had said." She apologised, thinking that it was the right thing to do and would save her from anymore attacks. Christian scoffed, ''are you hungry? You ate nothing earlier.'' Jessie meekly shook her head. "Right, you must not be used to food.'' Jessie opened her mouth to counter, but quickly thought against it. She lay back on the bed and closed her eyes, wishing she was anywhere but there. "I wanted to bring you out tonight, but I'm afraid you might not be right for my image and won't know how to act." Jessie turned sad eyes to him, "if you hate me so much, why don't you just let me leave?" "If only it was so easy." "Christian!" A seductive female voice called. ''Oh, there you are darling. Why aren't you ready as yet?'' The female asked, entering Jessie's room. "Oh, you're with her.'' She sulked. It surprised Jessie to see that it was the she wolf that growled at her at her wedding. She was all dressed up in a skin tight short black dress that has a high split in the side and a plunging neckline. Jessie scoffed. "You have a problem?'' "Not at all, darling." Jessie tried to mock her voice. "It's a compliment when someone tries to be you.'' "Trust me, I wouldn't want to be you even if you were the last influencer on Earth. Looking like a cheap version of barbie.'' "Do something about her, or I will.'' Christian turned hateful eyes towards Jessie, who sinks back into the bed, wishing it would swallow her now. "Time for you to learn some manners.'' Christian dragged a screaming Jessie done the hall while his female companion stayed behind and laugh.
