I woke up to more hostile messages, all over my message boards across all social media platforms I owned.
The night before I’d cried myself to sleep, thinking of how shattered my reputation had gotten within mere hours and how it seemed like a hopeless attempt to fix. How on earth was I meant to remedy something when I had no idea what the root cause was? No freaking idea who’d started the rumor and how they’d made so many people believe it.
