Adam pulled up in the empty restaurant car park, as close to the entrance as he could get. From here he could see through the large front windows and watch Lucy finish up her shift. She was speeding around the small clusters of remaining customers, cleaning up the tables, closing for the night. There was a smile on her face that warmed Adam’s heart. After she finally released her feelings to him in the car earlier, he had been worried it would take a toll, but she had refused to call in sick and let her boss down. He admired that about her and was once again certain she would make a good Luna. Thinking about Lucy standing beside him, supporting him and helping him to run the pack made him smile. He was sure they were going to love her and couldn’t wait to announce their mating.
