3 Start over. Lesson one. Sharman raised her arms and then set them carefully back down on the arm rests. Normally the pod’s seat adjusted to the pilot and molded around him or her, but this pod had already done that. Sharman scooched back into her seat again to have as much of her body in contact with it. She lifted her bare feet and then set them down again on the platform. As if by doing any of this she was resetting the control. Shutting the computer off and turning it back on. But there was no computer. The pod could think for itself.
