Alpha Shane swung his arm out and gestured toward the buildings. “Come on, Mona says that supper has arrived. If we take too long, those sons of mine won’t leave us much of it.”
Alpha Shane and I walked in silence up to his quarters. Before we walked through the door, we could hear Luna Mona jokingly yelling at Reed and Lucas that setting the table does not mean eating the food as you place it on the table.
