Lucas POV I couldn’t tell if he was upset with us or if something else was wrong. We knew because of what he said to Heather he wasn’t upset with her, so I was ok with that. Dad could be as mad as he wanted to with me just as long as he is fine with Heather. Reed and I ran to our rooms. I showered quickly, put on some sweat pants and a t-shirt, gathered up a half load of laundry. I wasn’t leaving those jeans for Mom to find if she decided to do some washing. Reed and I mostly do our own laundry, but the odd time Mom will throw a load in for us. I stepped into the hall to see Reed with a half load of laundry also.
