I waited until I saw the boys heading across the yard towards the training field where Levi and Quinn were sparing before I grabbed a book off one of my shelves and sat back down beside Shane. He sat up straight in order to get a better look at the book I had. “Ok, spill, I know something the boys said has got you thinking.”
“I didn’t want to say anything in front of them but I think Heather may be their mate. I know it shouldn’t be possible for them to get the strong feelings that they are only being fifteen and fourteen. The regular teenage hormones, yes, but the calming feelings and need to protect?
