How can she think that I wouldn’t want people to know I had a thing for her? I know we never talked about it, but after yesterday I have been doing nothing thinking about holding her. The only way I’m able to calm down and think is if she is near. I’m surprised I didn’t get my ass kicked during sparing. I was more focused on her than what I was doing. When I’d been standing around with some of the guys after training discussing going to the gym, I hadn’t even noticed that Avery and the others had shown up. I was too busy trying to calm myself down after one of the younger warriors that were still on the field had made a comment about wondering what Meg’s opinion was about per-mate s*x was, because he’d like to make sure she got a lot of practise. I watched as Meg left the field.
