While Heather was getting ready for the party, Shane and I helped Lyla and Gavin clean up from dinner. We started discussing some of the things that I had discovered about the other families that were in the area at the time the curse was put on the family. Apparently, Lyla’s family wasn’t the only ones in the area that had a reputation for being witches. Lyla and I had spent the last three years trying to find out anything that we could about them. There are records of them settling in the area but a year later they were gone. We had been unable to find anything that indicated where they had gone.
