Lucas POV As Heather closed the door behind her, I flopped back down on the couch letting out a long sigh. Reed walked back over and joined me. The two of us are sitting with our heads leaned back against the couch with our eyes closed. I hear Mom and Dad making their way over from near the desk to the chairs near where we are sitting. I picked my head up and opened my eyes. Mom is sitting with her legs crossed at the knees leaning her elbow on the arm of the chair with her chin resting on her hand, staring at us. Dad is leaning forward with his elbows on his knees and his fingers linked together, also staring at us. Mom was the first to speak. “Well, she walked out of here pretty calmly.
