When the commotion started on the shore, April, Dawn and I started to make our way out of the water when I got a link from Lucas telling us to stay where we were so as to not get caught in the middle. We watched from the edge of the water. April stood behind Dawn and I, not wanting to see her brother kill someone. I looked over my shoulder and said to April, “You can look now. Meg took him for a walk.”
The guys started to get up from the table, heading towards us. I nudged Dawn with my shoulder and nodded in the direction of the guys. “Should we give them a chance?”
“I guess. They did back off and gave us time to think this morning.” Dawn answered.
