/Stacy's POV/
I was looking grim and out of space when I returned back to the house. I sputtered everything that had happened that night to my twin and I had ran upstairs when the police arrived. I don't know why I was so nervous about saving someone but I was trembling and shaking nervously like I was gonna be caught or something.
"Are you sure she isn't here?" I heard from downstairs and I moved out from my room towards the steps but stopped so I could watch who was at the door. My breath ceased for a minute when I figured it was a cop by our door.
