It all happened in a flash. No one was expecting it, or even saw it coming.
So when Josh pulled the trigger and shot Zane, it was the last thing anyone ever expected, even Zane himself.
Zane's men gun Josh down immediately, not even giving him time to react.
So now I had one dead friend, and a lover that was fighting for his life.
I begged Zane to stay alive, and he promised he wouldn't leave me or give into the piercing pain of the bullet, but soon Zane lost the fight as his eyes closed to the darkness.
