Kane tossed and turned as his nightmare consumed him. It was the same dream he always had. His last fight. The one that left him a cold and bitter man. He could feel the heat of the sun even in dream. The sting of the sand as it whipped his face. Kane felt a hand on his shoulder, which was not a dream but real. He rolled, ready to defend himself, but stopped when he saw an angel leaning over him with a halo of dark hair draping down her shoulders.
