Chapter 8 | Baby love.

Florence squeezed her eyes further shut as she felt her alarm vibrate underneath her pillow. She groaned softly before she rolled on her side in attempts to not wake up and ignore this awful alarm. She had totally forgotten that she was married. Her subconscious was still not used to the fact that she wasn't with her father anymore. She was married and she was laying down in bed with her husband.  Upon realising, she quickly opened her eyes and snatched her phone from underneath her pillow and turned the alarm off. She gaped as she realised that her feet was on Jaemin who was still sound asleep. She quickly but carefully removed her feet so she wouldn't wake him up. It was currently four thirty. Just thirty minutes before five o'clock. She sighed softly and got out of bed.  Her heart fluttered when she realised how they went to sleep last night. He was nothing more than just a gentleman. He even offered to sleep on the sofa if that's what made her comfortable. Florence rather would sleep on a sofa than making Jaemin change his comfortable space. She was afraid of how their first night would go and she was relieved to know that Jaemin truly did not meet the expectations she had made herself ready for.  She thought that he would definitely try something but Jaemin respected her privacy, dignity and her freedom. This was more than she ever wanted and she was glad. Florence eventually believed that these times of her marriage was a blessing she got from her mother angel. She knew she deserved after everything she was put through by her father. Florence smiled softly at Jaemin who laid down on side. His hair all over the place, covering his forehead. His eyes shut while his lips were pouted. She chuckled softly when she saw some drool on the pillow. She couldn't help but to find it adorable how Jaemin slept. Her heart beat a bit faster by seeing him like this. It was a feeling she never felt before. Everything was so new to her.  She took out her phone and took a picture of him. This was what she wanted to remember forever. This day and night where Jaemin made her feel more at home than her own father ever did. She knew it was too soon to speak but she truly believed that this man, her husband wasn't like she thought he would be and the happiness she felt through this was indescribable.  Walking towards the bathroom, she remembered how nothing of her was ready. She quickly walked over to her suitcases that were all over their room. She knew what she would be doing today while Jaemin would be at work. Her first day as fulfilling the duty as a wife to him. A part of her was excited for it while another part of her was utterly terrified.  She didn't know what she should expect. No one really made her ready for her married life. Not even Yuna. She felt like she was all on her own. Even if that wasn't entirely true. The day she was married, she had become a part of a new family. Jaemin's parents that would truly treat her as if she was their own. That's how much pride they took in having Florence King as their daughter in law.  Florence took out white joggers and a white jumper to keep herself warm since she was truly freezing. She had no idea whether this was due to the mansion or if she was feeling under the weather. She didn't wanted to get ill right after her wedding. She took out her make up bag and the other essential she needed to actually freshen up as quick as she could since Jaemin would wake up almost in an hour. She hurried her pace back to the bathroom. She had to be quick and make breakfast for Jaemin. She wanted to have a good impact on him. She didn't wanted him to go to work with an empty stomach or do not have packed lunch. It was something she couldn't or wouldn't allow. Especially since she was now included in his life. Florence turned on the lights in the bathroom and softly closed, locked the door behind her.  The last thing she wanted was for Jaemin to walk in on her while she was changing. She would be too shy. Even if she knew that there would be a day where she and him would connect forever. The thought of that intimate gave her chills all over her back. She knew that she wasn't ready for that. Not yet... She hoped that Jaemin wouldn't want that either too.  She washed her face with cold water before she quickly stripped herself from her clothes and walked inside the shower. She let the rays of hot water fall upon her tired body that needed to wake up. She quickly washed her body and her hair before she quickly came out again. She didn't wanted to take too long and made sure she came out in ten minutes. This was probably the fastest she had ever showered.  She took her towel and carefully put her feet on the floor. The last thing she wanted to was to slip and hurt herself or mostly wake Jaemin up. She dried her body while putting her clothes on and then used her towel to cover her hair. "Okay. Let's get ready." She said softly to herself. She started brushing her teeth and as soon as she was done, she started applying her skin products before putting a light amount of make up on. Her hair wasn't dry but she didn't have time to wait for it.  Without thinking twice, she quickly walked out of the bathroom before turning the lights off. It was a few minutes past five o'clock. She had more than an hour to cook for him and his family. Quietly, she walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. She tried her best to find her way towards the kitchen and she let out a happy squeak when she found it.  The maids that worked for the Lee family truly looked terrified as soon as Florence walked in. Their skins were pale while none of them had enough courage to ask what she was doing here so early in the morning. "Can we help you Mrs.Lee." One of the maids finally spoke up. Florence sweetly smiled before she shook her head. "I just want to cook for my husband and my family." She smiled. The maids were not really used to someone speaking so friendly with them. Jaemin's mother was truly an angel but she was barely home to begin with. The head of the maids was a true b***h and always pressured the ones that had to do all of the work.  "B-But Mrs.Lee, we can cook for you. You really don't have to put yourself through that problem." The maid stuttered her words in fear. She was mostly afraid how the head of the maids would respond to this. Florence shook her head once again before she took a pan out of the cabinet. "Please, just tell me where I can find everything. Your kindness is too much for me." She smiled as she heated up some water in a pan.  "Is there any kimchi?" Florence asked. The maids shook their head in core. "Mrs.Lee likes fresh kimchi." They all responded. Florence smiled as she nodded her head. She was quick to work her way around. She already knew what she would make for breakfast.  Hoeddeok. Sweet syrup pancakes with coffee or what kind of drink they would normally drink. For lunch she wanted, kimchi, rice with smagyeopsal and bulgogi. She smiled as she could already imagine them loving it.  "Can someone take out the vegetables, beef and pork for me?" She asked politely. The maids were quick to move around and take out everything out. It was so quick as if their life depended on it. Florence walked over to the fridge, taking a box of eggs out so she could boil them. For some reason, Yuna always made sure she had boiled eggs in the morning and if she would ever miss eating on, she would get scolded. For some reason Yuna always made sure she didn't miss out on it and now it was Florence's habit to have them. She put several eggs in the pan. It was quite deep and hallow. Florence smiled when a maid put down the things she asked for. "I... euhm. Do you know where I can find the cutting board?" Florence asked hesitantly. She felt as if she was annoying all of them.  The maid quietly nodded her head and took out the cutting board from a cupboard near the fridge. Florence made sure not to forget that place sos she didn't have to ask for someone's help anymore. She smiled upon receiving the cutting board and laid it down on the aisle.  She tied her hair up in a ponytail and washed her hands before she started marinating the pork and beef. It took her at least a good half an hour to clean the meat and making the spices of it ready. She let it leave for a few minutes before she put a huge amount of rice in the rice cooker.  "Did you guys have breakfast?" Florence asked as she looked up at the maids. Everyone seemed so shocked how Florence was casually speaking to them. One of the maid lowly bowed while saying, "We usually wait for the family to have breakfast first."  "You guys at least should eat something before working. It's not good." Florence argued back and acted a bit mad so they would take into account what she was saying. She didn't wanted them to overwork and be too tired to ever do something. They should enjoy their work too. It wasn't good.  She soaked the cabbage before cutting it from big to small so it would be easier to eat. She cut some green onion before putting on the cabbage and a bit of garlic. She was quick to make the sauce for kimchi and put everything together. She smiled proudly and stored the kimchi in the fridge.  After an hour, everything was ready. The lunch for her father in law, for Jaemin and Jinwoo. She packed it securely in boxes that they could eat later on. She put in different cute bags and put it on the aisle that was already cleaned up. She made coffee and hot chocolate and walked over to the dining room where she put breakfast ready. "What are you doing?" Jaemin's sudden voice startles her and she almost lets go of the coffee but luckily managed to keep it still. She gasped lowly and looked back at her husband that was fully ready for work. His bangs were hanging lowly on his forehead and his tight dark blue suit made him look younger and sexier.  "I-I made some breakfast for the family and some lunch for you." She stuttered. His intense brown eyes staring into hers made her feel so weak and intimidated. She tried to look as confident as she could but she knew Jaemin read her quickly. He was good at that.  "You didn't have too. We have maids for that." He smiled and walked closer towards her. Her heart started beating up her throat when she realised how close he was. Her cheeks already flushed red and her innocent eyes looked up into his oh so demanding yet loving eyes.  "I know but... I just wanted too since I wanted... I wanted your opinion." She said shyly. Jaemin chuckled softly upon seeing how adorable she looked becoming shy. He let his hands go around her waist, pulling her slightly closer. Florence's eyes slightly widened upon his action. This was the first time they were this close and so touchy.  "You want my opinion?" He asked while staring at her. Florence opened her mouth slightly to say something but for some reason no words were coming out. She nervously nodded her head as she looked at her husband.  "It smells so nice!" Jinwoo shouted loudly while walking inside the dining room, followed by his parents. Florence widened her eyes as Jaemin quickly let go of her but they were too late. Jaemin's parents both saw them so close and Jaemin's mother smiled widely. She was glad to see that her son's marriage was doing well. She knew that it was too soon but the way Florence carried herself and how she behaved, she was just sure that it wouldn't take too long for Jaemin to fall for her entirely. Florence was a pretty girl but above all of that, she was kind-hearted,  respectful, loving and responsible.  "Oh! Did you make all of this?" Jaemin's father asked out of shock as he looked at the sweet pancakes. His mouth started to water by just looking at the jelly and soft pancakes. Florence shyly nodded her head, not being able to say something. "She also made some lunch for us." Jaemin said with a smile before looking down at Florence who couldn't even look up anymore. Jaemin's mother smiled before walking up to Florence and pulling her into a hug.  "Thank you... Really." She said. Florence quickly shook her head and smiled. "I will always do this... Please don't thank me." She insisted. Jaemin's mother looked at her and caressed her cheek. "Oh my sweet daughter... Don't do too much. We don't want you to be too tired. Especially when you go back to work." She smiled.  Florence sweetly looked at her and nodded her head. ___ Hello!
