“Why did you both go there alone?!” Jaemin’s father shouted angrily at them. As a father he was terrified for what would happen but as their boss, he was furious that they took it upon themselves to go there without any protection.
“We have protocols and policies here that we have to follow. You both have worked long enough here to know what they are.” He continued. Both Jihoon and Jaemin were standing upright with their hands behind their back and their faces glued down at the floor.
“Father, I saw an opportunity to get him and I took it.” Jaemin said as politely as he could. “That doesn’t matter. What am I supposed to say to the government about two casualties in a public environment that has been recorded and spread all over the internet?”
