Mated to Her Alpha

How can this be?

Evans (POV)

I sat there next to my dad listening to my mate asking all these questions about how she could possibly be a wolf and all I wanted to do was comfort her and tell her everything would be ok, but she didn't  know me yet hell she didn't  really know herself yet. My dad tried to offer them room and board and a job because he knew I would need my mate as future alpha every alpha needs his luna otherwise the pack wont function properly. I tried to keep my wolf calm but after her little stumble on the stairs I knew it would be difficult to hide my feelings. All my wolf kept saying was mate, protect her be with her and I was doing my best to keep him at bay when Lucinda turned to me shouting she said " an how dare you just waltz in my house pretending you own me like some sort of pet. Thats when my wolf took over.

Lucinda's (POV)

"How dare you waltz in here pretending you own me like some sort of pet" I shouted to Mercedes guy, sorry Evan but thats when I saw a change in his eyes again but this time he shook and thats when I started to hear the cracking of bones and to be honest it was the most awful sound I had ever heard and holy s**t he was growing black fur all over his body as it twisted and changed shape. Then standing infront of me was the biggest wolf I had ever seen, I backed up in my chair as he padded the four feet towards me closing the distance in a matter of seconds he was breathing heavily on my face as he was towering above me he lowered his head and just like that he licked me. What the f**k a humongous black wolf just licked my face, but as he pulled away I saw those eyes again and they were gray just like before but they looked sad and right then I felt this all consuming need to hold him and tell him whatever it is it will be ok. "What is wrong with me?" I thought to myself  how can I be feeling sorry for some beast in my living room that was this really hot guy about a minute ago that grew fur and licked my face? "OMG I need help".
