Callie I woke up late this morning- too late to make it to work. Okay, it's never too late to go to work, but I couldn't bring myself to go. This is not like me; I'm never late for anything and never take a day off just because. I called Chris, another teacher at the center, and asked him if he could teach my class this morning. Even though my class was at 8 a.m., I knew I wouldn't make it. Luckily, he could fill in. After what happened to me, my mother got me into teaching art at the community center. She said it would be therapeutic and help me move forward with my life. As much as I hate my mom interfering in my life, she had a valid point. And I can't deny that it has helped me.
