I've been sitting in Jenna's living room for the past two hours explaining to her and Sarah all about what's been going on these past few weeks and all about my new family.
Nate, Benton, and Brandon took themselves out to a pub with some friends so they could say goodbye. This is our last night in Manhattan, and the boys wanted some friend time.
The girls sat and listened without speaking or passing judgment. I got the feeling Sarah already knew something. I guess Benton had told her, meaning she'd told Jenna. But I wanted them to hear it all from me.
“You're still you, Rai. You have always been you.” I nod as Jenna hugs me to her. “Bit weird that you're Benton's cousin, though.” We all laugh.
