Civilian life is not what I expected it to be. I spent my entire adult life in service, and in all honesty, I’m finding life on the outside a little challenging to adjust to. In my quest to have Jenna fall for me, I gained a ready-made family, a house, and a life I wasn’t expecting. Not that I would change anything about the life Jenna and I have; it’s perfect, really.
So why should I find things difficult?
I guess things are just taking a little getting used to. The fact Toby wanted to call me Daddy came as a surprise to me. When speaking to him, everyone always referred to me as Brandon. But Toby had made his mind up, and no amount of trying to correct him made an ounce of difference to his little mind.
I don’t really mind him calling me Daddy. Hell, it’s not like he’ll ever
