Nevaeh Six hours before the end... “Where are we going?” I ask quietly. David didn't want to wait even five minutes before we left. He literally had me pack an overnight bag. He also forced me to remove the ring Kirby gave me and slip on the small diamond ring of his choosing. I did so with a smile on my face and a “Thank you” on my lips. I climbed into his car, and he sped away just as I noticed Violet leave her house. I was a little scared she'd run after us, but she didn't. We've been driving for about twenty minutes, and I'm starting to feel a little sick. “To get married, of course.” “But, David, I'm already married. I don't want to be a bigamist.” He says nothing for a moment. Then he breathes deeply, angrily, and I know I've said the wrong thing. I do not want to marry him!
