"You sure had some little courage to stand up to him."

"Your like the star of the office now"
"Kia won't like that.."
"But your still so fine!"
So many statements banged my tiny brain, as I entered the office building. No, I have;t been famous. I was just over-exaggerated for something I had done clearly to help the waiter in the cafe that served me every day. But it had ended up as a star thingy because usually THE Aiden Mathews was the type to do it, not the one being punished.
But what was even more surprising was I was summoned to his office despite all these talks the minute he came to know I had reached my room.
"Your getting a promotion"
My eyebrows raised.
Everybody had, it seemed. So was I.
"In two days?"
He nodded, 'Its been a week. I suppose"
