Jackson stuffed his hands in his pockets as he walked down Main Street, avoiding the gazes of those around him. Halloween decorations hung from every lamp post along every street, and the town center was smothered in hay bales, scarecrows, and even jack-o'-lanterns scattered around the gazebo and benches. These people loved Halloween, and any visitor who somehow managed to get sucked into town believed the residents of Black Hollow lived for Halloween year round.
