Chapter 9 The Watcher in The Woods Heather did not sleep. She lay awake, thinking about him. He’s watching. She was sure of it, even up here in the mountains a thousand miles from home. Watching, waiting for her to be alone again. He’d finally figured it out, and he was on her trail again. She was stupid to think she could run.
