Logan stood silently after the door closed behind Stefano, then he walked to the table and grabbed the three plates we had eaten from. I followed with the platters full of food and we worked in silence. After about a minute, Logan ran to the front door and opened it.“He’s gone,” he said, closing it, and then walking toward me in the kitchen.
