When I got out of the shower that night, I thought of wearing grey. Stefano and I had spent probably a good hour using search engines to determine which colors were supposed to repel sharks and all we found was that the research was rather inconclusive. Most experts seemed to think that sharks were color blind, and that what really attracted them was contrast. Like humans, they were attracted to shiny things. Yellow and red were supposed to be favorites, and grey and black were supposed to be the least appealing colors, but what really mattered was the angle from which the shark was looking.Anyway, we weren’t dealing with regular sharks, we were dealing with shark shifters. If my red bathing suit were to be believed, they were definitely not color blind, and they definitely had preferences
