"I'm okay," Kate tried to stand up but found that she was in too much pain.
"I am so sorry. I looked and didn't see anyone, and then you suddenly appeared out of nowhere. I didn't have time to slam on the brakes. I will take you to the hospital," The driver rambled in a hurry.
Kate shook her head and said, "It's my fault. I didn't see any cars. Don't worry; I will be fine."
