"I heard that she did something to offend Lord Joseph," May said with uncertainty then added, "She has always used her power and position to abuse employees. Many people didn't like her, including me, so we are happy now that she is gone."
Kate was confused; she thought Linda was there to monitor her, but she was fired.
"Kate, I admire you very much. Lord Joseph is so handsome, and I can tell he loves you very much," May whispered to Kate with great admiration.
Kate smiled half-heartedly and started to work without saying another word.
After work, Kate walked out of the building only to see Joseph's car parked at the front gate.
