"What the f**k! You're engaged, James?" Brandon patted James on the shoulder so hard that the drink that was in the glass spilled on the table.
"What the hell! Who got into my problem; why are you the excited one?" James glared.
"Sorry, dude, I'm just shocked. you suddenly got engaged, and next week you're getting married." Brandon put on a welding face.
"What kind of girl can melt your heart, James, I wonder." Dean, who had just arrived, joined in.
"I'll just let you know. Just give your own judgment. I'm too lazy to talk about a little girl like her."
"Damn, have you saved the pictures of her, James?" Brandon takes Jame's cell phone.
"How is it possible? I'm friends with her on social media accounts. Here you will see for yourself."
"Wow, are you serious? You're not a pedophile, are you?" Dean was dumbfounded when he saw Nathalie's pictures.
"Damn it!" James hit Dean in the head.
"You see, she still likes a high school student, but it's cute. I also like this type of girlfriend. "
"Really? I want to see." Brandon snatched James' cell phone from Dean's hand. "Wow, James, I'm sure she's still a virgin."
"I'm not sure if she's still a virgin. She lived in Paris for five years." James snatched the phone from Dean's hand.
"In Paris?"
"Yeah, she's studying for a master's degree in interior design."
"Wow, she is a great girl; she must be smart."
"Wow, cool girls, she like surfing. It's rare for girls who like such sports. Usually, they like to hide under an umbrella and then go to the spa to whiten their skin. When I get home, I'll take her to the beach if she's my girl. Have fun with her, surfing there." Brandon interrupted their chat.
"Whatever, I invited you here because I wanted to vent instead of praising the little girl." James snorted in annoyance.
"How old is she?
"Twenty-three-year-old." James put down his beer.
"It's okay to call you uncle, huh?" Brandon grimaced, showing his white teeth.
James looked at Brandon with a lazy look.
"You're crazy, Men. My head can be crushed if you hit it like that." Brandon wipes his head which was hit by James.
"Then, if you're already married, what about Sarah, James? Do you still want to take care of her?" asked Dean.
"I don't know." James shuddered his shoulders.
"You don't want to let her go? You better get rid of her if you don't love her anymore."
"That's my business; you don't have to interfere, anyways I married for the sake of my father's inheritance.
Two days before.
"What matchmaking? Dad, Mom…."
"I'm sorry everyone, I left something in the car. James, come with me, help me pick it up." Felicia grabbed James' hand, which was still dumbfounded.
"James, help your mother there!" Mark gives James an order.
"Okay." James faked a smile and then followed Felicia's step.
"What are you doing, Mom? You on purpose set up everything." They were both outside Spencer's family's house.
"I don't want to; it's like, I can't date a girl. After all, I'm a man. No fewer girls are lining up to be my wives, from the poor to the rich; even the president's daughter also wants if I propose." James huffed.
"Enough! Have you talked enough to me?" Felicia glared at James. "What kind of woman would you bring home to be your wife? The woman in your apartment was willing to care for you just to satisfy your lust and ruin your life. Makes you immoral or a cheap woman you meet for the first time, and she wants to satisfy your lust in the office?"
"No, Mom. The woman…."
"Mom and dad don't want to know, James. Accept this engagement, or we'll pretend we never had kids like you."
"What do you mean, mom?
"If you refuse this matchmaking, please leave the Hill family. You will not inherit a penny from your father's property."
"Hahaha, don't joke, mom. I'm the only child of Mom and Dad. How could you two throw me away? Or do you have other children out there besides me?"
"You're out of your mind." Always accusing your father. He never touched any other woman except Me!"
"I just guess" James stroked his arm, which was hot from being pinched by Felicia.
"We are serious; your father and I have agreed that if you refuse, we will cross your name from the Hill family. Your father will sell the Hill group shares as much as 50 percent to be donated to the foundation, and the rest will be distributed to your father's brothers who are in need; your father will only take 15 percent as provisions when we live in the Netherlands, later."
"Netherlands, you want to move there?"
"Yes, why stay here if only to see your depraved behavior? Mom is pleased; your father is willing when I invite him to live there."
"Hhhh, how could Daddy be willing to? Mom, you must be joking."
"That is possible. The only reason
your father doesn't want to move because of your grandparents. Now your grandparents are gone. So nothing will stop your father's decision to come with me to the Netherlands."
James was silent for a moment.
"Answer me now. There's no more time to think, yes or no?" Felicia challenged.
"So, your parents threaten you?"
"Yeah, they did."
"Are you afraid, James? Because you're an only child, your wish will be as smooth as a baby's bottom." Brandon chatter.
"Huh, don't make fun of me."
"I'm serious, James."
"Oh, I have to go now. You can't give a solution.
"Where are you going, James? It's still late."
"Want to pick up my future wife for fitting wedding clothes."
"That fast?"
James shuddered, "one more week."
"Good afternoon, Mr. Spencer?"
"Oh, James, come in. Nathalie will be ready in a minute. Just now, she just had to go to the field to check on a new project."
"Is Nathalie still working?" James confirmed.
"She has just worked for a year. I can't bear to ask her to just leave her job. Like a newlywed being in love. I hope you will give her time to continue her job, James?"
"I respect women can have the same opportunity as men in their careers. I will not restrain Nathalie; she can continue her career when she gets married later."
"That's right. If you later have children, we can help you care for them. Besides, your parents and we don't have activities. " I hope you two don't put off having kids."
"What the hell, Who wants to have children?"
"Why you don't say hello when you get home?" Dean acted angry.
"Don't you like, it when I want to surprise daddy?"
"Change your habits, soon want to be someone's wife."
"Who wants to get married?" Nathalie teased her father.
"Hmm." James interrupts the argument between father and daughter.
"James. Dad, why don't you tell me if there is…."
"Yesterday, we had an appointment to…, right?"
"Date?
"Today, our schedule is to go to the boutique."
"Gosh, why did I go senile? Nathalie panicked.
"Hurry up and go there; it's going to be late."
"Yes, Dad, we go now."
"Be careful, James, when driving a car, take it slow, and don't be nervous if she asks you to hurry to overtake other drivers."
"Okay, Mr. Spencer."
Nathalie clenched her fists at her father as if to say, 'Watch out, daddy, don't reveal my secrets.'
Dean laughed at his daughter's behavior.
"Come on in." James opened the car door for Nathalie.
"Thank you." Nathalie smiled at James.
"Your smile is so cute." James kissed the back of Nathalie's hand.
"James, don't…."
"Hahaha," James ignored Nathalie's protests.
From across the street, four eyes were watching the soon-to-be-married couple.
"Sarah, that was James. Why would he take a girl to a boutique specializing in wedding dresses? Does he want to get married?" Sarah's close friend Amy asked.
'No way James would marry another girl so soon.' Sarah's mind raged.
"Sarah, Sarah!"
