We waited for another half an hour before a sound alerted us. Our ears c****d, hearing something like a large group of animals running towards us. My beast stood up in anticipation. Caleb and Ken shifted to their beasts. Caleb is a white Lycan and Ken has dark red fur. We moved towards the direction of the noise.
As the first wolf broke the treeline, my beast scooped up the leader and bashed him to the tree. The other wolves went berserk and started attacking us. My beast jumped into the fray gleefully, excited for blood but protecting the prey we caught. Suddenly, we saw a streak of black and white lunge on the wolf that had its jaw clamped on our leg.
“Devlin! Leave!”
“Shut up, I can’t wait to fight.”
With that, my beast and her fought side by side. She took care of the wolves
