CHAP 4

A smirk plastered on my lips when I saw her trying to starve herself. She had her arms crossed and was seated on the bed. Not giving me a look. I proceeded to the center table and made a short glance at her food. She had a furious look on her face and was definitely not pleased to be imprisoned in my home. "If I were you, I would eat the food they prepared. Your efforts are pointless since I don't care whether you die from hunger." I slightly sat on the table and stared at her coldly. It appeared as though I were a demon posing as a human. "Gan'yan ka ba talaga?" aniya. My brows arched slowly. "How do you expect me to threat you? A princess?" I mocked. And please! Tantanan mo ako sa kasasabing alam ko ang dahilan kung bakit!" she blurted, her chest heaving in response. I merely smirked before rising slowly and towering over her. "I ought to be the one to say that. Quit acting like a fool in front of me," I warned. My side lip rose. "Don't worry; I'll do that. For the mean time, hahayaan muna kitang mabuhay. Quick death is too convenient for you." I scoffed and glance at the food again. "If you intend to starve yourself to death, let me know so I won't be sending you food here." Her jaw clenched and averted her eyes. I licked my lower lip and slowly brought my face near her ear. "It's not like you don't like the food, Irrah . . ." I whispered. "It's because you can't eat it. " I sensed how her body tensed up. I stepped back and grinned evilly. "You're allergic to shrimps," I ended. She's Irrah. I am sure of it. She once informed me that she is allergic to it and hence avoids eating it. I just laughed in the back of my mind and silently appreciated the maids for preparing a seafood meal. "H-How did you . . . Yes, Irrah. I finally caught you. She shook her head in disbelief. Wow! Just wow. Gusto mo talaga akong patayin kahit wala akong ginawang masama sa iyo." I clenched my teeth and fisted my hand. "Quit acting, Irrah. You're now busted." Her voice trembled, the corners of her eyes started to tear up. "Sana . . She buckled down and started crying on her folded knees. W-Why are you all so cruel to me?" I remained silent as I watched her outburst. I'm bewildered and a little bit irritated at the same time. P-pero bakit pinahihirapan niyo ako ng ganito?" she said between her sobs. Isang malalim na hininga ang pinakawalan ko. I don't know her agenda or the reason behind her behavior. However, I am certain of one thing: She couldn't deceive me again. "No matter what you say, you'll remain in my mansion until I kill you. Enough with your drama." I finally turned my back, leaving her alone in the room. I instructed him not to prepare any dishes containing shrimp for Irrah. I took a sip and laid back again on my chair. I despise the idea that earlier on, I was on the verge of believing her. She might have tricked me once more if I hadn't been sure she was the person I was looking for. You're such a good actress, Irrah. I sat properly and dropped my glass on the desk. "Come in," I commanded. I saw the butler of the mansion peeping as she slowly opened the door. She was distressed and sweating profusely. When she proceeded to enter the room, my attention was drawn to her trembling knees as well. "My L-Lord," she started. "Talk, Clarita," I commanded, a little bit confused by her action. "I-Iyong bisita niyo ho. Iyong nasa kabilang kwar—" Her words were cut off when I immediately interrupted, "What happened?" I eyed her darkly. "Fvck!" I cursed out in anger when a thought entered my mind. As soon as I entered the room, I found her lying on the floor, sweating and having trouble breathing. "Call a doctor, now!" I instructed my people and went to Irrah. Damn it! What the hell is she thinking? Tangina!
