Chapter Two: Looking for Trouble
The gears in Cindy’s head shifted all through the rest of the day. Naughty ideas drifted into and out of her thoughts – and each of them made her face itch with delight.
By nighttime a plan was hatched. She’d go to Billie Joe’s, a notorious single’s bar in uptown. Her single friends called it a “meat market,” and described it a “sleazy collection of horny, desperate, scoundrels looking to sink their teeth into anything that moves.” Just was Cindy was looking for.
